Senior Technical Lead

Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a team of full-stack developers, establishing best practices and coding standards

• Oversee the technical architecture and strategic direction of software projects

• Design and develop front-end website architecture and back-end applications

• Make high-level technical decisions and provide architectural guidance to the team

• Define and implement technology roadmaps aligned with business objectives

• Collaborate with AI teams to integrate machine learning features and set technical vision

• Establish security protocols and data protection measures across projects

• Drive innovation while ensuring scalability, performance, and reliability of applications

• Manage project timelines, resources, and technical requirements

• Bridge communication between technical teams and executive leadership

• Evaluate and recommend new technologies to enhance development capabilities

• Participate in client meetings to provide technical expertise and solutions

• Conduct regular code reviews to ensure quality and adherence to standards

• Identify and manage technical debt across projects

• Troubleshoot critical production issues and implement solutions

• Develop and maintain technical documentation

• Facilitate knowledge sharing and continuous learning within the team

• Maintain significant hands-on coding responsibilities (60-70% of time)

• Actively contribute to the codebase and directly implement critical features

• Lead by example through direct technical contribution, not just direction

• Rapidly prototype solutions to validate technical approaches

• Balance strategic leadership with day-to-day development needs

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field; Master's preferred

• 7+ years of software development experience with 3+ years in a leadership role

• Strong proficiency in front-end technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, TypeScript, React/Angular)

• Expertise in back-end development (Python, Node.js, Java)

• Experience with database systems (MySQL, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Supabase)

• Advanced knowledge of version control systems (Git) and branching strategies

• Experience designing system architecture and API development

• Strong background in cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and infrastructure as code

• Demonstrated team leadership and management skills

• Experience setting technical direction and managing technical debt

• Strong communication skills and ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

• Advanced problem-solving and analytical skills

• Experience with agile development methodologies and leading agile teams

• Knowledge of security and data protection best practices

• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps culture

• Experience with AI/ML integration is valued
